Have strapless dress but want to add off the shoulder straps? Meet with our team of seamstresses and fitters to get exactly what you’re envisioning. Looking to add sleeves? Go over the many options we have available to your disposal. From turning a zip up back to a lace up corset, to adding beading and design to a dress, there are a ton of services you can go over at your first alteration fitting.

Be welcomed by our alterations team and sit down with our specialists to go over options that you want done. First fittings generally take around 45 minutes to an hour depending on what services may be requested. Our fitters and seamstresses will help you put on your dress, pin it to show your fit options, as well record your measurements.

There are a couple of things that are asked of clients to bring to their First Fitting. Items such as the shoes you will be wearing, any shapewear or undergarments such as a petticoat or bustier, and of course your lovely self.

Have a dress with a train that is stunning for pictures but not ideal for the dancefloor? Add a Bustle to any dress so that you can be hands free and not dragging your dress all over your venue. Bustle help tastefully shorten and pick up the train so that you can go table to table to show what a lovely dress you picked without ever having to worry about someone stepping on your dress. From American bustle to French Bustle, or from one point bustle to multi points bustle, we can have you covered as per dress style.

AMERICAN BUSTLE

Also known as the Over Bustle, this style is created by lifting the train up, using buttons and loops, to the proper area on the back of the gown so the bride can walk, dance, and enjoy her reception! The length of the bustle should be the same length as the hem, making it even all the way around.

FRENCH BUSTLE

Also known as the Under Bustle. This unique bustle (Victorian Bustle) favors wedding dresses with natural waistlines as it’s the reverse of the American Bustle. It’s created by tying multiple ribbons underneath the gown’s train where the fabric is pulled up and tucked under for a subtle fold.

Of course you can, and we recommend you bring someone such as a maid of honor, mother of the bride, or someone that will be attending your event. Sometimes we need another pair of eyes to help you when you’re trying to get that ideal fit. Choose a bustle service for that train, we’ll teach your guest how your bustle works. Coming alone? No problem! Our staff can help you record the bustling process for your specific dress so that you can have it handy.

Since there are so many styles of dresses, pricing varies from dress to dress and services that are being requested. Have a lot of things you want to be done on your dress? Try one of our alterations packages that our team can help explain what services are included. Pressed for time and don’t know if it will be done on time? An extra rush fee may be applied if you need your dress within 2 weeks or sooner.
